A.G.M. 2014

Learn about our work, have your say and come along to our A.G.M. on Tuesday, 30 September 2014 at 8.30pm in the Barracks in Beaufort. New members very welcome. Guarantee you won't get a job if you don't want it! Cheese and wine reception after to acknowledge help and support of all our volunteers and to mark our 281 points in the Tidy Towns Competition. 2013 Tidy Towns National School Projects

This year we have a number of very interesting project underway in the national schools. The 5th and 6th class are working on local waterways in Beaufort, the 3rd and 4th classes are working on places to visit in Beaufort, the 1st and 2nd classes are drawing a picture of their favorite place in Beaufort and the junior and senior infants are drawing a picture of a Winter scene. We are really looking forward to the final projects.

Fundraiser: Locals XMAS Gathering

WHEN? Thursday, 28 December 2013 in Beaufort Bar from 9pm. Lively music by the Small Hours and finger food served on the night. All welcome!

Junior Competition

Calling all our primary school students of the parish to our competition

5th-6th class—Team project on presentation on Beaufort’s rivers and lakes

3rd-4th class—Team project on production of a tourist brochure listing places to visit in Beaufort with a short description.

1st-2nd class—Draw a picture of your favourite place in Beaufort.

Juniors and Seniors—Draw a picture of a Winter scene.

Lots of great prizes to be won and closing date is Friday, 13 Dec 2013. Projects will be presented in the Community Hall before Christmas. Judges decision is final.

Beaufort Camera Club in association with Tidy Towns launches photo competition with theme of ‘Autumn In Beaufort’

Competition is open for entries until the 1st of December. Please email all entries to beaufortcameraclub@gmail.com  2 entries per entrant. Junior and senior categories with great prizes to be won. Photographs may be used for promotional purposes. Any photos of people must have their consent.

Spring bulb planting and Winter Tidyup

WHEN? Saturday, 16 November 2013 meeting at 10am at the Community Hall. All hands on deck for year end tidyup. Some of tasks are planting, weeding, strimming and planning for 2014

Fundraiser: Come and meet Santa at his cosy and fun grotto in a beautiful 18th century manor.

WHEN? Saturday, 14 December 2013 & Sunday, 15 December 2011 in Beaufort House from 1.30pm-4.30pm. Tickets available from  Eileen on 087 4197979. Cost is €7 for the first child and €5 for each brother and sister thereafter. Limited places available. Fun activities and treats for children also included.
